Hello... I am Jos.
I am just a concept.
I am not real.
I am the result of the stupid mindblowing ideas of my creators at JosWorld.
JosWorld is a brussels-based creative thinktank founded by five young graphic designers.
They have a great design concept, but unfortunately they don't know how to explain it to you.
Briefly, it contains this:
organised chaos.
interaction.
patterns.
mathematical systems.
surprising results.
turning the world 90 degrees.
no restrictions by current trends or habbits.
recycling.
To have complete freedom, they created this world, and called it JosWorld.
I am Jos.
I represent my creators in this world.
JosWorld gained it's independency in september 2004... because... wel... why not?
You never dreamt about owning your own world?

I was born in the late seventies.
I was raised in Hasselt.
I was drawing before I could even walk (I think).
I liked architecture.
I wanted to become an architect or a product designer.
I wasn't smart enough.
I ended up persuing a medical career instead.
I was too creative for that... patients don't like creative treatment.
I was sad.
I quit.
I moved to Brussels.
I studied Graphic Design at Sint-Lukas.
I was happy.
I majored in Multimedia.
I got a job in the TV business. By bluffing.
I made on-air graphics.
I specialised myself in motion graphics and live-graphics.
I was appreciated.
I was even happier.
I became a freelance motion- and live graphic designer.
I work for TV channels like: VT4, VijfTV, VTM, KanaalZ, Prime Sport, Exqi,... and collabed with NBC, BBC, France2, Eurosport,...
I work with providers like: Videohouse, Alfacam, Outside Broadcast
I did events like: Rolling Stones European Tour, UEFA Championship, Claudio Abbado concerts, EU debate, General Electric global event, Manager of the Year, ...
I do stuff like: station identity, show identity, titels, show control, 2D graphics, animations, live graphics
I use stuff like: After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, QLab, VDMX,...
I am a co-founder of Josworld
I am a Staff member of the Belgian Red Cross
I am a GA member of Hêbê - The European way of Living
I am happy.
